100 people in Boris Johnson face mask

A group of around 100 wig-wearing Boris Johnson 'look-a-likes' are partying outside Downing Street while belting out chants of 'this is a work event'.

In a tongue-in-cheek nod to the brewing 'partygate' row, the revellers, dressed in suits and wearing paper masks of the Prime Minister's face, have been spotted dancing to music on Whitehall.

The group, some draped in Union Jack flags and others carrying beer bottles, have been heard chanting 'my name is Boris' and 'this is a work event'.

It is believed the event was organised by the YouTuber 'JaackMaate', who, sharing pictures of the party on Twitter, wrote: 'We hired 100 Boris Johnson’s and threw a party outside Downing Street…'

It comes as the Prime Minister faces yet more flack over the partygate row following further revelations about conduct at Downing Street during last year's lockdowns.

Last night it was revealed that No 10 staff boozed at two leaving parties the night before the Queen grieved alone at Prince Philip's funeral.

It is claimed that during one event, in the basement of No10, aids were boozing so 'excessively' that one person was sent to a nearby Co-op with a suitcase on wheels to fill with wine, beer and spirits.
